Recrewt Ltd is an MCA compliant superyacht recruitment and placement agency. Recrewt LTD was formed in 2013 as an independent company, which caters for the more personal side of crewing, with the belief that crew placement should be tailored to the individual, for both the client and crew member alike, and as such we have a very hands-on approach.
Each crew member, where possible, is interviewed personally, and all references are checked thoroughly.

Following a crew enquiry from a captain or owner, a search is done to find crew which fit the job description. The requirements of the crew member are taken very much into account when details are forwarded to a yacht. Using this very personal approach, placements are inevitably more successful.

During a busy season, when pressure is as its most intense, and time is of the essence, a simple email or phone call – including weekends and evenings – will guarantee a rapid response from us. We understand that the superyacht industry doesn’t stop at weekend, so neither do we.

Information for crew

Registration via the website is a prerequisite to working with Recrewt Ltd.

CVs should be written in the most comprehensive way, and be as easy to read as possible. References and documentation should be sent as scanned originals, and all additional information should be forwarded by email, with all relevant contact numbers and email addresses for both the candidate and the referees. Once crew are fully registered and had a face to face interview, they are required to keep in contact and inform us when their availability or contact details change A successful placement is only as effective as the information Recrewt has on file. This personal and regular contact is encouraged to build an in-depth knowledge of each candidate and develop ongoing rapport, and email and SMS/text are the most efficient way of keeping touch.

It is advised that once the season is upon us, candidates are in Antibes or other key yachting locations in the Mediterranean so they are readily available for work or an interview. It is difficult to place crew who aren’t readily accessible, although it’s NOT impossible!
